This is when Blackburn with Darwen’s heatwave is ending

A HEATWAVE hit the UK over the weekend and many people spent their time enjoying the sun and baking weather.

However, the glorious sunshine isn’t set to last and rainy skies are predicted in Blackburn with Darwen this week.

If you need to top up your tan- you won’t have long to do so.

Here is the Met Office’s weekly weather forecast- including the exact day the good weather’s set to come to a close.

Monday 19 July

Today’s weather is set to be a continuation of the weekend’s fine weather.

Temperatures are expected to soar to 26°C with temperatures set to peak at 3pm.

It’s mostly sunny with some cloud coverage between 12pm and 3pm.

Blackburn with Darwen is also in for another warm night with humidity expected to hit 88% in the early hours of the morning.

Tuesday 20 July

Sunny skies and 26°C temperatures are on the cards for Tuesday.

It’s also set to be another humid day with high pollen and UV rays count.

Wednesday 21 July

Wednesday is meant to be one of the hottest days of the week, with temperatures reaching 27°C.

Temperatures are expected to peak at around 4pm.

Clear skies are expected all day- so make sure to get the barbecues out.

Thursday 22 July

It’s a similar story to Wednesday’s forecast on the 22nd with temperatures expected to reach 27°C.

A high UV and pollen count is also expected- so slap on the sun cream and make sure to take an anithistamine if you have hayfever.

Friday 23 July

It’s expected to cool down on Friday- although temperatures will still hit 24°C.

It’s expected to be sunny until around 4pm when some cloud coverage is forecast.

Saturday 24 July

On Saturday, it looks like the heatwave is officially over as some rain showers are predicted between 1-7pm.

Maximum temperatures of 21°C are in the forecast.

Sunday 25 July

At the end of the week, sunny intervals are expected- but these are forecast to change to light showers by late morning.

Temperatures are expected to reach 21°C- but the UV count is still said to be high so keep wearing your sun cream!
