A CORONAVIRUS vaccination bus has returned to Blackburn providing second Pfizer jabs.
Mosques, colleges, leisure centres and community hubs are among the venues it will be stopping.
The mobile vaccine hub originally visited in May and is now returning to the same locations to enable people to receive their second dose.
No appointments are needed.
The bus timetable is: Wednesday Blackburn College car park in Feilden Street from 9am to 12.30pm; Thursday Audley Leisure Centre car park in Chester Street from 10am to 5.30pm; Friday Mill Hill council car park in Angela Street from 9am to12.30pm and then Roman Road Health Centre in Fishmoor Drive from1.30pm to 4.30pm; Saturday St Michael and St Johns Primary School car park in Swallow Drive from noon to 7.30pm; Sunday Shadsworth Community Hub car park in Rothesay Road from10am to 1pm; and Tuesday July 27 Masjid E Sajedeen Mosque car park, Plane Tree Road, Little Harwood from10am to 5.30pm.
First doses will also be available for anyone who missed the bus the first time around. Everyone over the age of 18 is now able to come forward for a vaccination.
Lancashire and South Cumbria vaccine director Jane Scattergood said: “Vaccination is extremely important in our fight against Covid-19. For various reasons some people do find it difficult to take up the offer of the vaccine, but we want to do everything we can to make it easier for people to get their vaccine when they can.”
