‘Freedom Day’ weather forecast- will it be a scorcher in Lancashire when lockdown restrictions ease?
This week, Boris Johnson announced that most lockdown restrictions are set to ease from 19 July.
This means that most people are free to socialise without social distancing measures in place.
It also means that venues such as nightclubs are allowed to reopen and more events have been given the green light to go ahead.
Undoubtedly, many people will be celebrating on 19 July- but will the weather be on our side?
Here’s Lancashire’s Met Office weather forecast for the next week- including the much anticipated ‘Freedom Day’.

You can expect temperatures of up to 20°C and lows of 14 °C.
There is an eight per cent chance of rain at 8am.
